The Lancer has already been brought to the strict IIHS testing "arena" where the feel-good, safety lip service that brands try to pass off is quickly squashed. That didn’t happen with the Lancer, and after challenging tests the vehicle was deemed worthy enough to have a spot on the Top Safety Pick list, which is just excellent.
