This engine works very well with the standard eight-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT). For all trim levels, the Eclipse Cross uses a MacPherson strut with a stabilizer bar for the front suspension and multi-link with a stabilizer bar for the rear suspension. The new Eclipse Cross has both two-wheel and four-wheel-drive versions. As for towing capacity, this small SUV can go up to 1,500 pounds.
