Across the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the European market is currently being treated to an all-new model by our mutually preferred Japanese automaker: the Outlander PHEV. At this point, this particular SUV isn't scheduled to arrive in our Mitsubishi dealership serving Littleton, but a similar vehicle here in the U.S. is always a possibility.
So, with that said, we'd like to introduce you to the European-based Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
Equipped with a 12kWh lithium-ion battery and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the efficient Outlander PHEV boasts a maximum driving range of 824km. That's an ample 512 miles, you guys. When switching to the SUV's electric only mode, 52km, or just over 32 miles, are achievable.
Now if that last number seems a bit slight to you, we at Skyline Mitsubishi would like to point out that the Outlander PHEV is fitted with a battery pack that's completely rechargeable in 30 minutes. That's when hooked up to a minimum 80 charge via fast charging system, standard wall outlets allow the model to reboot in only five hours.
