If you've ever been through our showroom at Skyline Mitsubishi then you probably have noticed the unique little i-MiEV Hatchback.  MiEV, which stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle, is the automaker's eco-friendly line of EV technology. Now the MiEV family just got a little bigger, following the recent debut of the CA-MiEV at the Geneva Motor Show.

The new Mitsubishi will maintain the sporty compact design associated with electric cars, but new and improved features make owning an EV convenient. First and foremost, the efficiency of the CA-MiEV provides drivers up to 186 miles off one electric charge. This will come in handy for those who enjoy traveling or commute a longer distance to work.

On a related note, the CA-MiEV doesn't need to be plugged in thanks to its magnetic resonance wireless charging feature. Rather, you just need a wireless charging station within the car and you'll always be on your way.

Another development is the new EV system that powers the car. The 80 kW electric motor may be smaller in size but makes up for it in power, pumping out 107 ponies.

When it came to the CA-MiEV, Mitsubishi was focused on creating a practical everyday EV. The premise was that no matter your lifestyle, there is a green option when it comes to your car. With advanced aerodynamics, lightweight components, and smartphone options, this model is fit for your daily driving needs.

So how can you get your hands on it?

Mitsubishi hasn't announced when the CA-MiEV will be going into production and coming to dealerships like Skyline Mitsubishi but we'll be sure to update you via our blog when it does!
