With a total of three versions available, the Mitsubishi Lancer is one diverse compact car. Of course, one question we here at Skyline Mitsubishi hear quite often is, which one is right for me? Today, we'd like to give you some insight into the Mitsubishi Lancer lineup in order to help you answer that question once and for all.
Let's start with the original.
The 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer is a four-door sedan that serves as a solid middle ground in the model's lineup. We'd dare to say it's the most popular model of the three for this very reason, though it also helps that it features the best fuel economy of its siblings at an EPA-estimated 26 mpg city/34 mpg highway.
Need a little room for hauling cargo?
In that case, you might want to give the 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback a shot. This five-door hatchback version of the Lancer sheds a couple miles per gallon in order to offer a greater interior cargo volume - totaling out at up to 52.7 cubic feet. Don't worry, however, it still features a very solid rating of 24 mpg city/32 mpg highway.
Of course, we realize some of you might like living on the edge a little. In that instance, we recommend checking out the "bad boy" of the Mitsubishi Lancer lineup: the 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Featuring a turbocharged, 2.0-liter MIVEC engine, it unleashes an incredible 291 horsepower that's tamed by Mitsubishi Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC).
If you're still not sure which Mitsubishi Lancer model is right for you, you're invited to decide for yourself with a test drive at Skyline Mitsubishi today.
