Attention auto enthusiasts in the Thornton area: Mitsubishi is going Multi-Platinum. No, we don't mean the automaker is gearing up to pump out high-selling music tracks. Skyline Mitsubishi is referring to the fact that Mitsubishi has decided to produce Platinum editions of a variety of new Mitsubishi models.

Unfortunately for those in Thornton, CO, only our fellow Mitsubishi fans in Australia will receive this special lineup. But we're thrilled for them and happy to discuss the models nonetheless. Starting with Platinum variants of the 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer and Mitsubishi ASX, consumers down under will see added features such as leather and heated seats, reversing camera, six-way power driver's seat, 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome-tipped exhaust and Platinum badging.

Moving up the ring to the 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander, Platinum drivers will get all the same premium features as the Lancer  and ASX but with a few additions like silver detailing and side and curtain airbags. Finally, consumers with their eye on a new Mitsubishi Pajero are well-advised to look into the bumped-up Pajero Platinum variant which offers the best additional features yet. Most noteworthy is the model's Mitsubishi Multi Communication System which comes with voice command. Additional bonuses include automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, a 12-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system and Platinum floor mats.
