Geneva Motor Show Will Unveil All-New Mitsubishi Model

Perhaps one of the most overused adages in our country is this: "A picture speaks a thousand words." Of course, like any clich?, it's so very true. But we at Skyline Mitsubishi have our own adaptation. We like to say, "A teaser image speaks a thousand words." And in the case of the recently released image of a new Mitsubishi model, those "thousand words" tell of a future Mitsubishi design language.

Auto enthusiasts have probably already heard whispers of the automaker's upcoming change in design direction. But the teaser showing the front end of a yet-unnamed model confirms it. Set to be unveiled to the public at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show, the new Mitsubishi vehicle lacks both a title and body at this point. The pre-release image is completely darkened save for a heavily-countered hood and LED headlights. Our best guess is that these parts belong to either a new crossover or truck.

Regardless of model type however, the fresh Mitsubishi will most definitely be the first vehicle to show the automaker's new "engineering-driven look." It will also be the premier product under the Mitsubishi "Jump 2013" business plan which strives to attain a more global reach in the near future. Regarding the company's plans, a recent press release notes, "This re-focused design language, while still being formulated is envisaged as an open design concept, meant to be flexible enough to suit specific vehicle requirements."1

For updates on the upcoming model and other revamped new Mitsubishi models, be sure to stay tuned to Skyline Mitsubishi at 2040 W. 104th Ave. Thornton, CO 80234 and keep up with our blog. As the Geneva Motor Show date gets closer, we promise to provide you with all the exciting automotive mecca news.
